This document provides general installation and support notes about the Community forum supported Intel(R) Math Kernel Library as it is distributed via the YUM and APT repositories described below.

These software development tools are also available as part of the Intel® Parallel Studio XE and Intel® System Studio products.

Repository setup instructions

The Intel YUM repository is available at the following location: http://yum.repos.intel.com/setup/intelproducts.repo

The Intel APT repository is available at the following location: http://apt.repos.intel.com/setup/intelproducts.list

Up-to-date instructions on how to add the Intel® Performance Libraries and the Intel® Distribution for Python repositories at once or via individual packages are available at https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/installing-intel-free-libs-and-python.

When submitting a support issue to us, please provide specific details of your problem,

    - Intel package and version information
    - Host architecture (for example, Intel(R) 64 architecture)
    - Compiler(s) and versions
    - Operating system(s) and versions
    - Specifics on how to reproduce the problem. Include makefiles,
      command lines, small test cases, and build instructions.
      Use <installdir>/test sources as test cases, when possible.

Submitting Issues

- Go to the appropriate forum as listed above
- Log in to the site (upper right-hand corner). Note that your username and password are case-sensitive.
- Click on the "New topic" button in the top left.
- Complete the fields describing your issue and attach any supporting files.
- Review the issue and complete submission.
